On October 15, the opening ceremony of the Jiangsu University stop of the national tour of award-winning works from the 20th China Good Creativity and National Digital Art Design Competition was held at the School of Design and Art of our university. Liu Jie, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Jiangsu University; Jia Zhihong, Deputy Dean of Mengxi College; Zou Tingting, person in charge of innovation and entrepreneurship at the Academic Affairs Office; Han Rong, Dean of the School of Design and Art; Zhu Zhe, Deputy Dean; and representatives of teachers and students attended the opening ceremony and jointly visited the exhibition.
The China Good Creativity and National Digital Art Design Competition is an important professional event in the field of digital art design in China. It has always adhered to the principle of 'promoting teaching through competitions and promoting learning through competitions,' and is committed to building a platform for exchange and display of achievements in university design education. This national tour exhibition has entered multiple universities, bringing high-quality creations from the competition into campuses, helping teachers and students to expand their professional horizons and stimulate innovative thinking. The exhibition features a curated selection of outstanding works from this year's national competition, covering five regular competition tracks: visual communication applications, human living environment and sustainable ecological space design, social innovation, cultural heritage, and traditional Chinese culture, comprehensively showcasing the innovative vitality and diverse explorations of contemporary youth design.
The atmosphere at the opening ceremony was lively. Attending leaders and teachers exchanged and discussed the creativity of the works and their application in teaching; students paused to appreciate the details of the works and shared their creative thoughts; international students also experienced the cultural connotations and contemporary expressions of Chinese design through the works.
Organizing this award-winning works exhibition is an important step for the college to deepen the integration of competition and teaching and improve the quality of education.
