On the afternoon of September 22, the School of Design and Arts held a welcome event for international students and a Mid-Autumn cultural experience activity in Classroom 1302. The event aimed to promote international understanding through cultural exchange and to empower the training of design talents through internationalized education. Dean Han Rong, Vice Deans Zhu Zhe and Sha Chunfa, faculty representatives Zhang Kai and Zhang Lili, and the school's internationalization secretary Wang Liwen gathered with five international students from Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Cameroon, and other countries to share friendship and celebrate the festival together.

To demonstrate the college's care and blessings for international students, Dean Han Rong presented each international student with a carefully prepared small gift and invited everyone to enjoy mooncakes, which symbolize reunion and happiness. By explaining the origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival and traditional customs such as moon gazing and eating mooncakes, Chinese festival culture was transformed into an experience that is perceptible, participatory, and interactive. In this immersive interaction, international students could appreciate the meanings of reunion, harmony, and sharing embedded in Chinese culture.
