To further strengthen the construction of research integrity in the college, standardize academic conduct, and create a clean and upright research environment, on March 11, the School of Arts specially invited Li Jun, Deputy Director of the University's Science and Technology Department, to conduct a special training session on the theme of "Key Policies and Governance Practices of Research Integrity." The college leadership team, key faculty members from various departments, and representatives of research personnel attended this training.
At the training session, experts provided explanations focusing on core topics such as policies and regulations related to research integrity, typical cases of academic misconduct, and governance practices. By combining policy interpretation with case analysis, they systematically outlined the importance of building research integrity, conducted an in-depth analysis of current integrity risks and issues in the research field, and clarified the behavioral norms and responsibilities of researchers in areas such as project applications, paper publications, and results conversion. Experts also provided targeted guidance on issues such as the boundaries of integrity in academic creation and intellectual property protection, taking into account the characteristics of the arts disciplines, helping the college's researchers understand the red lines of academic ethics.
The content of this training was detailed and highly targeted, not only deepening the understanding of research integrity policies but also strengthening personal awareness of academic ethics, laying a solid foundation for the standardized conduct of future research work. The college will take this training as an opportunity to continuously carry out diverse research integrity education activities, improve the management mechanism of research integrity, guide the broad faculty and students to uphold academic principles and abide by integrity standards, and provide strong support for promoting the high-quality development of the college's research endeavors.
